Membership - Eligibility and Benefit

1. Has one of the central purposes of his/her work as the achievement of the objectives of the association and a substantial record of activity in the promotion of EIA in development.
2. Do not pursue objectives or carry out activities that conflict with the objectives or activities of the Association; and
3. Meets the other requirements for membership as prescribed in the constitution and guided by the Members' Annual General Meeting.

Membership will include: 

• Organizations
• Managers and practitioners in environment
• Development partners in Environment
• EA practitioners and managers
• Scientists
• Researchers
• Associate Members
• Private Consultants

Rights and Obligations of Members are:

• To participate in Annual General Meeting of the association;
• To participate as appropriate in the committees established under the constitution and pursuance of activities of the association;
• To express an opinion on the eligibility for admission to the association of new members;
• To be informed regularly and participate as appropriate in the activities of the association; and
• To receive copies of materials produced and or obtained by the association for circulation to members and partners.

Members will have the following obligations:

1. To support and facilitate the objectives and activities governing the association;
2. To provide EAAIA, upon request, information regarding their activities in support of the objectives of the association; and ·
3. To pay membership dues as prescribed in the constitution.

• Forum for exchange of information and ideas on EIA through a list serve
• Opportunities for individual EIA capacity enhancement
• Opportunities to participate in EIA activities
• Opportunities to participate in regional, sub-regional and international EIA fora and networks
